Has the start of 2015 been the moment you promised yourself a fresh assessment of your professional life and where you want your career to take you?
Well, you’re already visiting TopMBA.com, so the prospect of undertaking an MBA program - or related specialized master’s degree – and its potential career benefits must have already occurred to you.
But are these programs right for you and what you want to achieve in your career? Is 2015 the right year for you to turn a passing interest into a fully-fledged application?
You can find much that will help you answer these questions among the pages on this website, as well as on the QS World MBA Tour.
But, once you’ve made a decision to apply for business school and whittled down your intended schools to the serious contenders, attending an MBA open day (open house) or campus visit will go a long way towards ensuring that your chosen school offers the structure and atmosphere that you were hoping for.
Below are some details of upcoming MBA open days and related events in 2015 at some of the world’s leading business schools to help in this endeavor – if you can’t make it to a campus event at one of your dream schools for logistical reasons, then online information sessions can often be useful replacements:
Europe
The US
Off-campus alternatives for US schools are also available in the form of webinar and online information sessions.
Canada
Asia-Pacific
INSEAD Singapore has two MBA open day events on the horizon, on January 23 and March 27.
NUS Business School is holding information sessions for its MBA program in various locations around Asia-Pacific before returning for dates in Singapore across February and March.
Over in Hong Kong, HKUST holds campus visits roughly once each month, and CUHK Business School has a number of info sessions in the calendar, including one in Taipei on January 31, as well as some sample EMBA classes as part of info sessions taking place on-campus in Hong Kong.
If all these dates (and please note that this is by no means a definitive list!) are leaving you with a feeling of informational overload, you could always just head on down to the QS World MBA Tour when it hits a city convenient to you and meet some of the schools you’re interested in there.
The tour will be in the US and Canada as January turns to February in cities that include San Francisco and Toronto, before moving over to Europe for the start of March and cities such as Moscow and London.
